Welcome day!

Last week, Welcome day 🤗 took place in the premises of Trouble Café in Ostrava. ☕

We welcomed three international volunteers, Ines from France, Olena from Ukraine and Florin from Romania, who will help for 6 months at the Silesian Deaconess centres under the auspices of the InterVIA programme, co-financed by the European Solidarity Corps.🌏

Together with the volunteers and their supervisors: 
- we got to know each other,
- introduced Silesian Diakonia and the InterVIA programme,
- shared our motivation to volunteer, expectations and fears of living in a foreign country,
- planned activities for each month,
- thought about what skills each of them would like to develop.

We wish the volunteers much of God's blessing on their service!
