Preparatory meeting for supervisors

While the journey of the current volunteers is slowly coming to an end, we have started to prepare together with the supervisors to accompany the new generation of international volunteers🌍 who will arrive in September.😊

On 22th May the first Round Table took place in the background of the Pohoda Diaconal Centre, on 29th May we headed with other supervisors to Nový Bohumín, where we spent a nice morning at the Silesian Diakonia school.

And how did the preparatory meetings look like?👀

- Supervisors and coordinators had the opportunity to get to know each other.

- We shared our motivation to accompany a volunteer, but also our expectations and concerns. 

- We shared practical information and experiences to accompany the volunteer.

- We tried our hand at dealing with different situations that may arise during volunteering.

- Agnieszka from Poland, Asu from Turkey, Florin from Romania and also Thea from Germany prepared a presentation✨🏸🌮🎁 about their volunteering and shared how their supervisors supported them.

We are looking forward to new volunteers and wish the supervisors a lot of strength for their role!❤️
