Lucía from Spain and her volunteering in the town of Karviná!

For today, let´s visit a placement called "Klub Online Karviná", a place where youngsters from difficult backgrounds spend time meaningfully with afterschool activities. Lucía will tell you more about her experience there! 💚

" Hiii :)  I'm Lucía, from Spain. I'm volunteer in Karviná, Czech Republic. My volunteering is divided in two parts: Klub Online Karviná and Streetwork. In the first one, I spend time with teenagers with very different lives that they share in the "Klub", a safe place where they can go whenever they want to play different games, do sports, cook, talking, etc. 
On Streetwotk I spend time with children, playing games, doing quizzes, talking, walking, etc. 
In both cases, it's a great opportunity for me, both professionally (because I studied social work) and personally (I'm seeing a reality that I didn't know before).  
At the same time, it's also a great opportunity for me to live in the Czech Republic for a year and to be able to get out of my comfort zone!"
